If you’re an online business owner, entrepreneur, or just someone who works remote – you know how isolating it can be. I felt myself getting into a rut last year in my business, and one of the things that contributed the most to helping me get out of it was getting out of my house and meeting more women who were doing inspiring things. These networking events for women in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas helped me grow my referral networks, feel less alone, and get inspired by women in the Cincinnati community who are doing inspiring things.
It’s hard to get out of my comfort zone as an introvert, but these groups have been so welcoming. I look forward to their events each month.
If you’re looking for networking events in Cincinnati, explore this list of my favorite groups! And if you’re located elsewhere, I encourage you to find networking events for women in your own area. They are invaluable for your business.
Leading Ladies in Northern Kentucky is most known for their speed networking events for women. It works exactly how it sounds – you’ll meet 12-15 like-minded professionals in just one hour by talking to one person for about two minutes.
They say first impressions are everything, so make it good! Introduce yourself, your business, and how others can support you. Then, listen to what the other person says and see how you can support them. Make sure you bring plenty of business cards and take notes on people you want to follow up with later to grab coffee, ask a question or connect.
They also host other networking events throughout the year, such as lunch gatherings, workshops, coffee dates, and coworking.
It’s free for anyone to join! Come to the next one with me!
Blue North exists to support entrepreneurs in the Northern Kentucky area. They host monthly networking events to grow your connections and celebrate successes. This is a great place to find a mentor for your business or learn about resources that can help you as a new or growing business.
Blue North is also opening a coworking space in Covington,KY in 2025 – Sparkhaus! I can’t wait to use their office and event spaces specifically designed for movers and shakers in our community.
Beauty Boost Biz is a growing network of women in business across the nation, including Cincinnati! The events vary depending on your city, but they’re always a blast.
In Cincinnati, there are about two monthly events, but they aren’t traditional networking events. We often connect in a yoga class, at a brewery, and while painting cute pottery!
Most events have a small fee to join, but if you purchase a year pass, fees are waived.
You can join a single event or register for a full-day or weekend retreat. These women are amazing, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Beauty Boost Biz!
Aviatra Accelerators hosts networking events for women regardless of where you are in your entrepreneurial journey. The founders at Aviatra have such a heart of women in business, and it’s a delight to attend their events. They host free and paid events online and in Covington to help you grow your business, get the resources you need, and connect with other female entrepreneurs.
With topics like creating a business plan, small business lending, marketing basics, AI, and how to sell online, you’ll be fully equipped to successfully run your business. Plus, you’ll meet some amazing women along the way!
Cincy Creative Collab (CCC) is a newer group, (so I haven’t been able to make a meeting yet!), but I’ve heard phenomenal things so far. In addition to traditional networking, CCC does breakout tables at their events so you can get great discussions going without the awkward introductions.
They invite you to bring a project, idea, or creative challenge and share it with your group. You will get feedback, brainstorm solutions, and walk away with actionable steps to move forward. I love this focus on collaboration and getting things DONE!
GROWmunity has been a wonderful community and resource for my business! They host monthly meetings, pop-up events, workshops, and business support services. There is so much to get involved in and tons of resources to take advantage of!
Women on the Rise hosts monthly networking events for women in the Cincinnati area. The meetings are super low-key and usually hosted at a coffee shop or brewery! It’s a great way to genuinely connect with other female entrepreneurs. I always try to make these events to network and co-work!
If you’re in the wedding and events industry, this group is for you! The Wedding and Events Network was established in early 2025 to form valuable connections and offer referrals. As a founding member, you could have the opportunity to influence the group’s direction!
There are several active chambers of commerce in Cincinnati and the Northern Kentucky area! I’ve been to great events hosted by these organizations:

Evolve Women’s Network has several networking events for women every month! The goal of each meeting is to connect with each other and help others overcome business challenges. You’ll be welcomed at the door and inside the meeting room. Most events follow this agenda:
It’s a more structured event, but it is also one of the most welcoming groups I’ve ever attended! And as an introvert, I appreciate that it isn’t one of those events where you have to walk up to someone and start a conversation 😉
I look forward to going to each of these events every month. I’ve met amazing people, found client or partnership opportunities, helped people solve business problems, and so much more.
I encourage you to find networking events for women near you! And if you’re in Cincinnati/NKY, feel free to DM me if you want a buddy to go with you!
I think so! They’ve been hugely beneficial to my business since I started going to them regularly. Schedule a few into your work week and be consistent. Genuine relationships take time to cultivate, but the right connections have been invaluable to me in where my business is at today.
Yes! As an introvert, going to networking events alone forces me to get out of my comfort zone. If I were to bring a friend, I would probably just hang out with her the whole time, and that’s not the point of a networking event. If you’re nervous, start with one that’s more structured vs. an open happy hour or social.
To make connections with like-minded women! It’s so nice to connect with other female entrepreneurs who understand what owning a business is like. You can develop connections that may lead to other opportunities, too!
They are typically 1-3 hours long, although people often come and go all throughout the event depending on the style!
